What is microdosing?
Microdosing is the practice of consuming tiny doses of psychedelic drugs (in our case, psilocybin mushrooms). In pharmaceutical terms, microdosing refers to the minimum effective dose, which is typically between 1/10 and 1/2 the average amount. Users consume the lowest possible dose to achieve the desired effects without triggering any negative side effects. These small doses typically do not produce the hallucinatory or psychedelic effects associated with mushrooms, meaning the dose is “sub-perceptual.” Users microdose for a wide variety of psychological and physical benefits and have integrated microdosing into their normal routines. These benefits may include higher productivity, increased energy and focus and boosted creativity, in addition to lower anxiety, stress, depression, and more.
Is a microdose safe to consume?
Psilocybin is one of the safest substances you can find, much safer than alcohol, especially when taken in micro doses. Microdosing is proven to be safe and non-threatening. We advise that you not exceed the recommended dosage and frequency. This is because you don’t want to extend beyond your limits and potentially experience some unwanted side effects, such as temporarily losing bodily function and/or muscle weakness. Keep in mind experiences like that are not common and will go away in a few hours. Follow the dosage instructions and you’re in the clear! If by “safe” you mean “legal,” then the answer is yes, sort of. Psilocybin mushroom dispensaries operate in a bit of a grey area, just like medical marijuana dispensaries once did. But since mushrooms are a low schedule and we’re only talking about micro doses, you needn’t worry.
How do I microdose?
When it comes to microdosing, we recommend starting with a slightly higher dose at a time when things are low stakes (like, say, a weekend), to guarantee a noticeable effect. Then, you can slowly work your way back to the lowest dose possible while still feeling the desired outcomes. Once you get into a routine, the recommended schedule is to microdose in the morning and take two or three days off in between doses. COVID Anxiety Gone
Virtual work was really increasing my anxiety and I couldn’t focus at all, with all of the distractions at home. Once I started microdosing their shroom tinctures I could focus, and my anxiety disappeared. I am not kidding. I feel amazing!
